About Face - Stop Tobacco

About Face - Stop Tobacco

Extreme stamina. Top performance. Mental strength. A successful military career requires all three. However, tobacco affects these important qualities by impairing your readiness, endurance and ability to think.

Tobacco's lethal strikes reach beyond our military men and women. Approximately 70 percent of West Virginia's military families have at least one member that uses tobacco. About Face is an education program that reaches out to veterans, active military, the West Virginia National Guard and military families about the hazards of tobacco use.

The West Virginia Tobacco Cessation Quitline offers FREE services to ALL West Virginian's who serve in the  military.  Active duty, reserve, retired and their immediate families are eligible.  Please contact the Quitline today.

Armed with facts and information, our mission is to spread the truth about tobacco's specific dangers to our military and their families. Through our diligence and determination, we can reduce the tobacco rate in West Virginia.
